I love the #AbstractExpressionists as varied as they are. I was watching a PBS documentary on Rothko ("Simon Schama's Power of Art") and making jewelry and this necklace idea came to me. I took the colors of a taupe, orange and blue painting and didn't focus on pattern or material, just color. Like him. And it's one of my most beautiful necklaces, if I do say so myself.
