I bought that adorable dress at the craft show during Friends and Family Weekend at UMaine, from a vintage booth. I wish I held onto it but for whatever reason I did not. At least I had this one fantastic picture from 1998 to keep the memory. Back then I never wore make up, much less sported a pinup look with heavy eyeliner, so this was a very dramatic deviation from my usual appearance. In the late 90s I could best describe my style aesthetic as Baglady Chic. Very bohemian. Today this would be a good dress for a Tuesday at the office. Ha! The blonde hair, though, was legit. I was very platinum back then. I acutally wore this costume to a party at
the Noka, as mentiomed in my previous post. It was a memorable night! What are you wearing for Halloween?
