Shades of Brown, Jade Green and Eggplant Purple Plus Size Pinup Style Outfit for Work
I put together an outfit with this J. Jill taupe skirt using similar colors and posted it last week. I think this iteration works better. Though the skirt is J. Jill, I bought it at Bloomin' Deals thrift store in New Orleans.
Fall Color Palette Pinup Work Outfit Details
The skirt is taupe with an embroidered pattern on the skirt and I used the colors in the pattern to coordinate with the rest of the skirt. There's still a lot of pattern use going on, but it's a little more "settled" than the first time. I have stripes, floral and leopard print, but the top is a solid v-neck eggplant. I think this is one of the prettiest palettes I've put together to compliment my red hair and made sure to wear it down that day.
Vintage and Pinup Accessory Details
The jade necklace matches the rosette almost perfectly and looks really pretty. It was early spring, so I wore nude stockings to keep warm. I did a post on the jade color pin up accessories the other day. That necklace was SUCH a find! As you can see, I changed out the belt from plain brown to leopard print, which you gotta do sometimes! Best laid plans and all that.
